After studying at Fresno State, it was around 1960 and I was looking for early education programs for my 3 year old daughter Kathy. A friend and I set out to see what was available in the Fresno area, and there were very limited options. After some discussion we decided there was a real opportunity to incorporate an academic curriculum into early education and we started a School called Peter Pan, later I founded Fairmont and we've been here almost 50 years.
