I took a long route in becoming a teacher. I started my professional career as a social worker caring for at risk children. As a mother, I cared for and raised my daughter. I've been an intricate part of my granddaughter's upbringing, who I am proud to say was a student here at Fairmont. As a daughter, I took care of my parents who were in ill health. And with this all, I realized my passion was caring for people. Which inevitably lead me to seek a career in caring for young children here at Fairmont.
Young children exhibit a great deal of energy and excitement about learning. Seeing those smiling faces is extremely satisfying for me.
