| PROGRAM |
| Fairmont's preschool program is founded on
the belief that children develop at their own maturation rate. Our program
addresses the child's social, physical, emotional and biological growth.
These components support and depend on each other as learning takes place.
Our program recognizes that readiness for any given task is based on the
child's biological maturation rather than chronological age. Curriculum
concepts are introduced through a "hands on approach" which allows the child
to touch, taste, feel and experience the world around him. |

| TEACHERS |
| Knowledgeable and loving teachers are at the
heart of Fairmont’s Pre School program. Our teachers hold credentials,
diplomas and certificates in elementary and early childhood education. We
seek and support outstanding faculty who love children, life and teaching. |

| ASSESSMENTS |
| Student progress is evaluated through developmental
assessments in the areas of language arts, math and social skills. The teacher
also keeps a portfolio collection of the student’s work throughout
the year. Parent conferences are also scheduled in the Spring to discuss
the student’s progress. |
