Fairmont's program is founded on the belief that children develop at their own maturation rate. Our program takes into consideration the social, physical, emotional and biological growth. These components support and depend on each other as learning takes place. Fairmont's developmental program recognizes that readiness for any given task is based on the child's biological maturation rather than chronological age. Curriculum concepts are introduced through a "hands on approach" which allows the child to touch, taste, feel and experience the world around him. Fairmont's program walks hand in hand with nature and respects the individuality of each child. |
